Westex® FR technology dates back to World War II, which is when the military commissioned Westex® to innovate FR technology. After developing the first guaranteed flame-resistant fabric, they’ve continued to innovate with a wide portfolio of fabrics focused around types of fibers, yarns, and FR technologies.
MCR Safety utilizes Westex® products in several of its FR apparel options. Westex’s UltraSoft® fabric is utilized in several styles. It combines the softness of cotton with the strength and suppleness of nylon to create the perfect balance of comfort and durability.
